Not Quite A Resume
Pictured: NOT me. And yet very, very me.
I'm an actor, mostly stage. Chances are you haven’t heard of me outside Dallas. Thus, this site.
Sure, there’s bits that carry over: a squint, a waistline, a tendency to forget birthdays, a sense of moral absolutes, things like that, but the fellows in these pictures are bits of me that I’ve allowed to get captured over the years. It’s tempting to think any real me is in a storage facility somewhere, held together with gaff tape and gathering dust.
Companies I've worked for, both on and offstage, include:
Theatre Three (okay, Theatre Too)
I've also played "Nigel Grouse" in Pegasus Theatre’s “Living Black and White™” series since 2010. That's a color photo of Nigel up top holding papers.
As an improviser, I've played with troupes in Dallas, Austin, and New York City. Touring credits include the 2009 NYC Fringe Festival with Bootstraps Comedy Theatre’s The Boxer and understudying for Undermain Theatre’s 2008 Ice Factory Festival run of Neil Young’s Greendale.
Voice Over credits include 160 (and hopefully counting!) animated series produced by Crunchyroll Entertainment, including:
[Dozens of bit roles]
Video projects include a few comedic short subjects for Weresquirrel Productions, Virtual Reality projects with MyndVR and Dallas band Sunshine Village, and the web series Stella B and the Busted League. More about those guys in their links.
I've even done a modest amount of writing. A blog is going up soon, chock full of plugs and other long-form goodies. There’s stuff I’ve got lying around that maybe deserves some daylight, too.
For now, if you’d like to see or hear more, feel free to drop a line through the button below. I’ve given up Facebook, but I still putter around on Twitter.
And if you’re really interested, a web version of my resume is here.
